International Cooperation Forum 2025
The fourth International Cooperation Forum on Sustainable Development took place at ETH Zurich on 27–28 February. More than 1500 interested participants attended on site and online.
The importance of local initiatives and of cooperation between the private and public sector was emphasised in the discussions, in which Federal Councillors Guy Parmelin and Ignazio Cassis, among others, took part. Other high-profile speakers also addressed the audience. In addition, the IC Award was given to three Swiss companies for their innovations in the field of development cooperation.
During the various thematic workshops, participants examined economic development from different angles and in different contexts. The central role of the Swiss private sector – in this case with regard to the reconstruction of Ukraine – was one of the main topics, along with the Swiss financial sector, which is on the right track to developing further sustainable financing solutions.
