Better coordination

25.10.2024 - At the World Bank's annual meeting, Switzerland advocated reforming the institution’s financial and business model. It is calling for better coordination between the World Bank and other multilateral development banks and greater private sector involvement in financing the SDGs. In view of increasingly fragile contexts, Switzerland is pushing for strict implementation of environmental and social standards.

Swiss partners sought for national park programme in the Czech Republic

23.10.2024 - As part of the ‘Sustainable Tourism and Biodiversity’ programme, the Czech Republic plans to approach Swiss institutions with a view to forming partnerships. Projects for the management of visitor flows and the creation of landscape corridors in national and regional parks are being promoted. Similar programmes are also planned in Bulgaria and Slovakia.
