Since 2007, Switzerland has been participating in various projects designed to reduce the economic and social disparities in selected EU member states, with CHF 1.302 billion.
Switzerland’s commitment is an expression of solidarity. At the same time, Switzerland is consolidating the basis on which to build solid economic and political ties with the EU and its member states.
In September 2021 the Swiss Parliament approved a second contribution to selected EU member states. This is to be implemented swiftly.
